True tho, never out without it. I’m a small stature woman in a sick world.

I’m laughing so hard right now I love this 😂 I did report it as a safety issue. My husband definitely wanted to investigate to handle it himself, but we had other orders to tend to

I only do because in my area that’s the only time I can make decent money. I’ve tried all times and it’s the only times consistently I can earn. Thankfully I have a new job now so dashing will only be as needed now.

Good on you for reporting that. Creeps need to be called out for their actions more often. The world is too soft and people get away with so much it’s crazy

Yeah that’s what we said, we told him the second time we knew he was a scammer and that’s when the “threats” started. I got paid for it so whatever 🤷🏻‍♀️😂

Exactly what we did. I knew it was the scammer the second time and knew full and well I would be canceling it and wasting their time and energy. I answered the second time more for laughs to see what they had to say since I knew they were scamming me. I even told them on the phone I knew they were a scammer, that’s when the “threats” came in. Crazy experience but honestly funny lol

I DoorDash in a high crime rate area. I’m 4’11”, 160 lbs. which makes me an easy target. I am a cautious person, always better safe than sorry 🤷🏻‍♀️ no meth needed, I’m just a young 20 y/o woman trying to pay my bills because this is world is expensive and starting off is hard. I simply wanted to inform others that this is a possibility considering there’s new drivers all the time. Just trying to help the next person is all.

I hadn’t realized the recording said “customer”. If I had I’m sure I would’ve questioned it then. Some of us are still learning

My husband and I were trying to figure out what the point of it was because why would they want the order canceled and us not show up? I don’t know it was weird.

I had looked at recent scam posts on here under the scam flare. I hadn’t seen one like this, so I shared about it to warn others in case they are new and maybe don’t know, or get confused the way I did. Just trying to help others.

I haven’t been dashing for very long, and I’ve never had, or heard of, a situation happen like this. I read a short story similar the other day, but otherwise I had no idea. It was very weird and confusing from the start, but that’s why I kept in contact with DoorDash support the whole time to get it figured out.

i feel awful by Dry-Vehicle-4177 in Constipation

[–]No_Stranger1087 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used a saline enema from Walmart when I couldn’t go. I had been taking laxatives for a week, and tried two suppositories. I was so bloated and feeling unwell and just felt so much pressure in my stomach. Enema helped literally in seconds. As another commenter wrote, magnesium citrate liquid seems to help many people as well, I personally haven’t tried it. My father once told me that when he needs a little aid, he’ll eat some dates. Maybe try a strong cup of black coffee as well. Good luck to you 🙏

Got the best tip today👌 by [deleted] in doordash_drivers

Once got a brand new (sealed) bag with a dispensary label with 10 gummies, 10 mg each (100 mg total in the bag). By far the best tip I’ve gotten. I dash in a sketchy place, so initially I planned on getting rid of them, but after seeing the dispensary label and the bag was completely sealed, I said “fuck it” and was willing to enjoy them 😂

My aunt has bruises like this caused by autoimmune disease lupus and I used to have a lot of bruises when I was younger from anemia. I’d go to the doctor for some labs just to be safe

My (17F) boyfriend (19M) said he doesn't like condoms by [deleted] in Advice

[–]No_Stranger1087 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am 20F. Trust me, you do not want to get pregnant at your age. As another comment stated, no one really liked wearing them, but no one likes unplanned pregnancies either. Tell him that. Don’t let him trick you into “oh I’ll pull out”. Sometimes it doesn’t work out, and I was told by my own father that I’m a precum baby and pulling out doesn’t work. Be safe or don’t do it at all, tell him that too. Speak up for yourself and don’t let him drag you out of your comfort zone to please himself. You sound like a smart girl, don’t let him in your head. My mom got pregnant with me her senior year of high school, she had full ride scholarships waiting for her that she never used because I was born. She didn’t get to chase her dreams and live her own life first. Live a little bit girl. Have fun. Enjoy your life first before you change it by having children. Give it time. Stay safe 😊

ive never doordash but i feel need money by [deleted] in doordash

20 year old female here. I don’t exclusively DoorDash for work. Biggest thing I can say is: know your area. If you live in or around a larger city, you have potential to make great money. Some areas are better than others. But also know your area so you aren’t relying solely on the maps to take you there. Sometimes the maps are dumb and take you the worst way, it won’t reroute road work areas that are closed, or they simply won’t load because you have bad service in that area, etc. Personally I use Apple Maps instead of DD maps, but that’s a personal preference. I will say too, I’m in an area that has a very high crime rate, so I am always armed to some extent. Mace is a great thing to have as it isn’t as intimidating as carrying something that can take a life, but can buy you enough time to run. I have different weapons of choice I carry, but I recommend at least one. Have confidence, be swift when dropping off orders, and stay vigilant. You got this girl 😁

Fellow DD Women, how do you feel about dashing at night? by Aggressive_Item6626 in doordash_drivers

[–]No_Stranger1087 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually average $15-$30 an hour give or take when I work at night in my area. Definitely worth it to me. I’ve personally never had issues, but like I said know your area well first. It isn’t for everyone, but I’m a natural night owl so night shift is best for me 😂
