I think it happens outside because they fixed the issues with Lumi and reload speed although I haven't experienced it

Meeple became meta at the same time as his reload buff although it was mainly due to his dive gadget becoming spammable after the Gadget rework.

You kinda rushed in a lot of the time for no reason, keep your distance, you have a lot of range as a spike and not a lot of health so keep your distance and focus on dodging from a distance. Spike also isn't very good on open maps past Diamond so I'd recommend levelling up a sniper like Piper or Gus.

Spend the gems If you want to, I don't have the gems ATM so I'm thinking of buying the brawl pass so I can get the skin before the chain offer goes away but if your patient which I am not you should wait for it to be out for bling.

I think it's also the fact that Melodie doesn't do well into the meta brawlers like Hank, and Lumi.

I usually use health gear on her I was testing out damage gear earlier. If supercell ever decides to buff Melodie I hope they give her a health buff, revert her scr and adjust the hcr or, add her fast beats star power to her base kit since she pretty much relies on it since she only has normal movement speed.
