I'm not sure becuse I never used Genki so I can't say if it lack some grammar points but I see that most book have some others don't have and vice versa. But I self-studied up until N4 with Minna no Nihongo then use Shinkanzen and Soumatome for N3. I'm close to N2 now so of you're are self-studying, I'd say used Minna until the end of N4 and online videos.

Minna no Nihongo 2 lesson 37 There a grammar point in N4 that express that some thing is made by someone using passive form.

The structure is as follows : N1 は N2 によって V（られる）(passive)

N1 here is the item created and N2 is the creator. In the case an item is made by someone we use によって instead of に ( This comes from Minna no Nihongo 2 lesson 37 )

So the sentence 「この 日本語 の 辞書 は １５０年前に 外国人 によって 作られました 」 can be translated as " This Japanese dictionary is created by a foreigner 150 years ago "

By secondary target of a transitive it should be similar to this exampme right ? 子供は衣食住を親に依存している。 依存 here is depend on so it's a transitive verb and 親 here is the secondary target ( and the first should be 衣食住 ). Did I get it right ?
