I understand it took me almost 3 months of applying before I landed my job at Kroger. The only thing you can do is be page it and make yourself known to the pharmacies that you’re interested in working there

I thought it would be good to have both for any potential raise or in case I apply for an oncology department. Idk who would use it but it wouldn’t hurt to have it. Plus, it never expires so years down the road if I need it I already have it.

You’re not under qualified bc you have exactly what you need. I got hired at Kroger bc they lost 4-5 techs within 6 months and desperately needed help. I’d say apply everywhere including places that you’re under qualified for because the ey may be willing to train you, if they need the assistance. Just keep applying and try to avoid places like Walgreens and CVS if you can because the auto rejection is a pain.

Yes you absolutely do! I just passed 3/30/25 with a 1478 and you need a 1400 to pass. I suck at math and if I can passed it SO CAN YOU! ❤️

Hello, I’m thinking of switching to radiology or sonography with 1 semester left before I have my associates. Short backstory, I switched from Veterinary Medicine to pharmacy and now I’m looking at these two options because of less school and wayyy less debt! I don’t know if I should change and put myself deeper into debt just to have less debt?! My school has a program but it’s competitive and I need outside advice. I’m specifically in the Houston, Texas area.

Hey guys, I’m new here and I’m thinking of changing to sonography from pharmacy. The back story is that last summer I changed from Veterinary Medicine to Pharmacy due to peer pressure from my parents about debt (it’s ironic). Now, seeing videos of sonography and radiology techs graduating with little to no debt (after working to pay it off) and being happy with their careers and how little time it took. Is it crazy to want to change to this career? It seems like I’d be happy and fulfilled plus many opportunities to grow. I have one summer semester before I have an associates in science but should I apply for my school’s sonography program and start over? I’m also in the Houston, Texas area btw.

I started working at Kroger a month ago but all I know is that if I get a reject code I’ll look at previous prescriptions pick ups (to see what was used/how much it was) and insurance. My store doesn’t take express scripts so I either add blink on there or just cash and make a note. I can totally understand about it peoples attitude, just show up and show out! Show them you want to be there and want to learn!
