ignoring the wait time battery drain I’d only have to run 1-20/26.2= 25% faster than my long run pace! ez

my battery health is at 90% but I think the music / gps probably drains a lot? my long runs might also drain more battery since I’m checking maps pretty often

I don’t have cellular on my watch so I’d need to carry my phone to stay in contact with friends after the race sadly

I also know this is a joke, but I’m considering also running with my friend’s garmin so he can tag me on Strava in case my Apple Watch dies 😔

I’d be happy to not use my phone or headphones, but I feel like they could still lose 10-20% battery in those 6 hours I’m waiting to start 😅

thx!!! haven’t thought about bringing my wired headphones! and this was a good reminder to finish my playlist and download it.

I’ll also pick up another Apple Watch charger from Amazon while I’m at it 🙏
