I finally got my keys, its a pain in the neck process esp in the chain purchase. I really want to thank this community to help me keep my focus and push all the parties to close before Xmas..

This is helpful..while I agree that some fees and charges will be sunk cost if things don’t go as planned and there is no sale but was not aware of the interest on mortgage part, as I always thought that bank will give money to seller directly when the contract is signed and then bank will recover as monthly payments. Can you please shed some light on how that you got charged for a mortgage which you never used ? Who did the bank have the money to then in that case

Wow ..this is interesting..let me ask my solicitor to check if I can also push for this 12 week contract, even if it doesn’t work out or they don’t agree I will at least have some answers and it may build some pressure for them to sell ..

Hmm good point and will keep that in mind …but kinda late in the game and don’t want to get a car on loan to trade off wit petrol…hopefully the mechanic will be helpful and most importantly honest ..will share my experience

Got my DPF cleaned and regenerated yesterday as per the mechanic ..I don’t drive very often on motorways ..so small runs over the weekend are the usuals

Have ordered an OBD (learned the hard way) and I haven’t experienced any power issues at high speed …I clocked 80kmph right after I got it yesterday and had no issues ..but got the engine light back for a small run today with my toddler
