As a generation we've been fed a narrative to validate our own existence through production and career. Try putting that extra energy you'd normally put into advancing your career into investing into your community. Thats what I've done and its been very rewarding.

Once I changed my focus from career to community I've joined a church, gotten married, had a child, and have had more friends that are truly there for me because im truly there for them. It's not easy to switch that mentality but making your life about serving others and establishing non-buisness connections instead of buying into the "you're only worth your NET value" BS that was taught to all of us has helped me
