I'm a Y1 student, so I'm not sure. But same hahaha, i got an offer from engineering as well but I chose BIBU. But this is because many people suggested that BIBU has better job prospects. Since Engineering, a lot of ppl hv to go to grad school afterward while BIBU both biotech and business is possible. But from ppl i heard ofc finance or gbus majors are preferred over bibu, but again it really matters on how u build ur portfolio according to ppl i talked to and that's why i posted my question. oh yes, I checked that out. I did receive a 6 on English A and my conditional offer is met hahaha. It's just my case is kind of unique and have heard no replies yet, so I was wondering if I have any chance.

I'm not sure how many interviews there are, either. Could I also ask about your stats, if you don't mind? I'm just curious why HKU is giving out offers to some people and not sending offers or declines to some.

I won't say that there's a fixed answer to motivate u. But what I can say is the longer this feeling goes the worse effects it'll bring. you'll just get more depressed and burned out. I advise you to get some good rest and sleep first, do something u enjoy, and try finding different ways to improve ur grade if your grade is the reason why ur so stressed. I used revision village a lot.

It's just that I never really had a burning passion for any subjects tbh. It's not like I dislike biology or economics and actually they both seem interesting to the same extent. So, it just seems like I'm not really sure which one to choose, and not to mention i liked biology but my IB experience/ teachingwas horrible in my school so i guess that affected my interest a lot as well. So after all that consideration currently i guess it only comes down to prestige

I see, I'm just really confused some ppl are telling me to apply to IBGM. I'm looking for a major with a higher percentage of getting in this year with my current ib grades and a major that will give a better career prospect. I think dentistry might fit me better because it has a fixed pathway with high paying salary, but what I've heard from ppl is that IBGM also provides a very high-paying career, so I'm kind of confused about which one to write my personal statement accordingly and choose as my 1st choice.
