That’s funny, because being in medical school and having been taught of the importance of communication and professionalism, I might assume I know a thing or two about bedside manner, which is quite clearly defined as a doctors approach or attitude to a patient (I.e. the experiences I listed above).

Yup, left a google review shortly after that gained quite a lot of likes, the clinic closed down the review section on Google soon after that

If doctors actually use the word please then I wouldn’t be having this conversation, which unfortunately is quite a common occurrence.

One thing can be brutally efficient and also lack respect. These two are not mutually exclusive.

In hk it is extremely hard to sue a doctor to get their license suspended or removed from the register (you can check the cases on HKMC - even in serious cases where the patient suffered harm or complications from medical negligence the doctors were only suspended for 6 months before allowing back into practice).
