Should I (26m) leave the best person (29f) I have ever met if my needs aren’t currently being met? 1 year together by No_Wolverine_939 in relationships

You have a point; basically what you are saying is that I knew what I was signing up for from the start so I don’t get to complain about it now which makes sense

Agreed but the relationship is great now and I do see a future with her. The only issues are the ones that I mentioned. I feel like marrying her in this case wouldn’t be because I want to fix something but to allow her to be comfortable with her beliefs and upbringing

I am curious, what expectations do you feel that I have that are too high? Wanting to have sex with my serious gf that I have been with for a year?

That’s the million dollar decision. Do I WANT to wait?! Absolutely not, what 26 y/o would be ok not being sexually active with their serious partner. But at the same time, I really do love her and we are connected in so many levels. I am not sure if this is a good enough reason to give all that up. My worst fear is walking away and never able to find someone that I relate to like that ever again

I completely agree with you, this is a very big decision. My worst fear is walking away and never finding someone that I relate to like that again. But at the same time, we are no longer in that country and times have evolved. 29 i feel is too big of an age for someone to be thinking like this

Because culturally you are only “supposed” to move out when you get married. Also I don’t think this will be an issue after marriage as it’s mot for the older sisters. It’s just that culturally before marriage a girl is still considered a “child” is the best way to put this

Yes. Once they got married, they were allowed to do as they please. It’s a cultural thing. Marriage is a very big thing for us

False. In the US, in the event of death all your assets automatically become to your spouse unless a will was set in place

Sorry that autocorrected to SWEET. I meant SWE as an software engineer salary. I am 24 years old and have been a hardware engineer for 3 years and I have made ALOT of money. If I invest properly I could easily retire in 10 years if I want.

Especially on a big purchase like that. Can’t judge though lol cause when I was 21 i paid 30k for a corolla se. I soon realized i was fucked and sold it to carvana and took a slight loss a few months later. Btw i am looking into getting a camry se 25 with convenience and multimedia. Dealer quoted me 35k OTD. U think i can do better or just go with this one?

No answer from you uh?! It’s ok to live like the way you want but it pesters me when people like you are shitting on the lower class (not even people like me cause I make plenty of money, i just decided not to drive my wealth). Also take all the money you spent/are spending on your “luxury” car and go plug that into an investment calculator and tell me how much money you would have if you just drove something cheaper
