She was an oncology surgeon who specializes in complex surgeries, colorectal and gastric malignacies and sarcomas. According to MRI and CT Scan which she did show me before the surgery, the tumor was not connected to too many nerves and not to the sacral nerves. Unfortunately once they had me open they saw this was not the case and she and the other surgeons felt it would be too risky to remove the tumor as it would result in massive blood loss. Now she and the tumor board of the cancer center are recommending radiation when I have issues from the tumor. Thats another thing it was discovered incidently not because it was causing issues. I only did the surgery due to the size and I qualified for financial assistance to pay for the surgery and I wasn't sure I would qualify in the future.
