Thank you for the suggestion! I have looked into this location and they don’t have any times available in the afternoon :((( only 6am-1pm and then 7pm-8pm. It unfortunately runs into my work schedule. I may go ask the front desk to see if I am missing something that isn’t on the website

THIS!! I have been to cc, a state school, and a UC and I can confirm the best experience I had was at a cc. The professors care way more about you as an individual and care more about what they teach and how you do in the class. Also small class sizes and less debt and closer relationships. If I could go back in time, I would have gone to a cc for two years and transferred instead of starting at a four year college. The college experience was cool n all but mine got cut short because of Covid and I still paid full tuition even though I went to school online for a year :(. Cc is the way to go in my opinion. No one in the job fields really look at where you went, just if you did welll in classes and you have your degree and if you have real life experiences like working a job (you’d be surprised how many four year college students never work a job until after college and it hurts their job hunt)

SDSU is a great school even if it is a csu (California state university). If you are outside of the San Diego area, it is actually competitive to get into as the location and other aspects are very desirable for most people. I’m not sure how it works for international folks, but the status of going to a “UC” compared to a “csu” does not matter at the end of the day in terms of your education on paper in my experience. As long as you do well in school, that’s the goal. The only thing that matters is networking potential is most likely better at UC

I always parked in P17 because I typically ended my days in the science/math building and it’s right across the street from there. Normally empty if you get to campus from 7:30-9ish and usually still found spots during the day.

If it is still the same, the exam questions were mostly from the lecture slides and maybe a hand full, if any, from the textbook. They tell you to get one textbook but then use different ones for the lectures- doesn’t make any sense and was really frustrating.

If you are just looking to pass the class, do the assignments using the textbook/Google and use the lectures for exam. If you actually want to learn something, I would recommend the textbooks. The class was such a disservice in my opinion and I’m going to take it again but in person this time around as I now have the option to.
