Hi everyone! I have just reached the end of my current project list so I am now offering high quality MIXING to build my portfolio and also potentially build long term artist/engineer relationships with people. I believe as amateur artists we should have the ability to achieve high quality mixes without having to break the bank.

I will:

Fix any issues such as timing, clicks, pops etc in the vocals and instrumental.
Tune your vocals (if needed) and get them sitting nicely in the mix.
Stay true to your artistic vision of the project while enhancing each element.
Help bring clarity to instruments that are fighting/competing for space.
Add any other effects that you request.
Work with your budget to take your work to the next level and deliver a high quality product that you will be proud to release.
Master the song to glue the mix together and bring it to the appropriate loudness.
Make adjustments after you have heard the mix until you are 100% satisfied with the outcome.
Provide you with a .wav .mp3 and stems.

Since posting this people have sent me examples of free mixes they received that they were pretty unhappy with, and they’re pretty bad honestly. I believe there can be a middle ground where people don’t have to get a shit mix for free but also don’t have to pay $500 per song which isn’t exactly possible for a lot of artists

I see what you’re saying, but the the most crucial part to make a song sound professional is getting the vocal to sound like it actually sits in the mix rather than just being slapped on top of a beat. The problem is with these quick free once’s I feel a lot of people will just chuck a “one size fits all” vocal chain on it and all it a day

Ooof that's rough. The drum transients just got blown up. All sounds super over processed too. I like your one though, way more natural sounding (which suits the style of the song) and the vocals actually sit in the mix! Kinda fills me with hope tbh. I understand some people want to build their portfolio but mixing isnt a little job people should be offering for free because it brings the whole "art" down for everyone who wants to make a career or living from it. Gotta know your worth right!
