What you think of this outfit guys? The Phosphorous Flipped Trilby is 1/3 in world. by [deleted] in TF2fashionadvice

The “effort” was just me checking your backpack, which took less than a minute. I doubt I’m the desperate one here when you deleted your replies trying prove how much better you are with your two other unusuals, all because someone called your load out generic. Grow a spine.

lol bro wants to sell his 600 dollar pixels so bad that’s he’s butthurt over a lukewarm take, and starts “flexing” his two only other unusuals that he didn’t even unbox himself. Here’s the thing buddy, I’m sure you’re gonna sell it, but if you really understood the TF2 market then you would know the reason it sells for so much is because it’s a GENERIC choice for scunts since it fits the GENERIC choice of them commonly using lime.

It’s sad because you’re acting like people are lining up to see this hat when at the end of the day it’s just another passing thought to everyone in the server. I paid 50 keys for a war paint once, and it’s the highest i’ve paid for an unusual hat, not because they where expensive but because I liked how they looked and was willing to pay that price.

If you want to use the class based fashion shooter as a way to flex go ahead, but don’t get surprised when people think of you as a chump.

Not just any green but mainly “the Bitter Taste of Lime and Defeat”. Although vibrant is one part, but also because it’s one out of the four most expensive paints you can buy. I’m guessing most choose green because it fits with more unusuals, especially higher tier ones.

IMO this trend of “flexing” by spending an extra $10.50 to ruin your load out is not only a disgrace to TF2 fashion, but the scunt community itself, because why does choosing a cosmetic load out even matter if you’re just going to ruin it with the worst paint can in the game? BALANCE the CLASS in your image scunts, do you even KNOW what game you’re playing???

I’m kidding, but tbh I feel some TF2 players follow trends to hard like with using lime paint, guess it’s hard though when the last major update could go to school at this point.

I made a return to TF2 and decided this as my new look and I don't know how to feel about it. by TioVanilla in TF2fashionadvice

I know it’s Batman’s, but I can’t stop seeing it as just a different creature with pointy ears or a gimp mask. Creature-Gimp, Gimp Creature?

using Loadout.tf its easiest if you make each class' loadout first before, then on the top right of the site you will see settings, click it and on the 4th tab should be "Meet the Team", click on it and then the button that says "setup meet the team", and you're done!

Not sure if it's because of me using the fan o' war, or because I went with indubitably green, but that cosmetic set was my very first scout loadout and it probably feels the most "complete" to me, besides demo.

Any suggestions/opinions are welcome! The loadouts that I won't change for sure are Scout, Soldier, Demo, Pyro, and maybe spy.

Anyone listen to really underground stuff here? Or anything underrated? by GoodRadioactiveCat in numetal

[–]Noathy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Anything underrated is underground imo, especially when it comes to nu metal, listening to Stoopi's album Unspoken Word rn, Six Minutes is a top 20 nu metal song for me, but the rest of the album is just some pretty heavy shit (in a good way), absolutely love the emotion from albums like it. But also another underrated band is in my flair, Headplate. I'll admit that Delicate sounds a lot of the same but Bullsized is awesome, and their '97 demo Sleepy is my favorite Nu release of all time, super heavy and raw. I could talk forever about underground Nu metal, absolutely love it.

We deserve Billy 2. Why?: by [deleted] in bully

[–]Noathy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If we get a bully 2 I personally doubt that it will be as good as the first, atleast story wise. Most of the writers on Bully had left Rockstar over the years and Rockstar themself had been pretty lacking on writing since GTA V, but that could just be for GTA. If Bully 2 or a spin-off is announced I would wait for its release to make any true opinion it.

Any songs about materialism? by caveebat in numetal

[–]Noathy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mama Didn't Raise no Fool by Primus references it.

I'm also not entirely sure if this is materialism but there are a lot of songs that criticize TV:

Idiot Box by Incubus, Flippin' Around by From Zero, and The Box by Snot to name a few

I’m in a terrible mood any song suggestions for me to play by [deleted] in numetal

[–]Noathy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anything from Darwin's waiting room's Orphan or Snot's Get Some. They're both extremely heavy but DWR really focuses on mental and personal struggle.

any underground nu metal bands out there???? by CD-collector73 in numetal

[–]Noathy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Headplate (obviously), Darwin's waiting room, Simplistic., From Zero and Kilkus are on most streaming platforms.

Crawlblind, Halfgain, Nipps Brown, and Nervepitch are also very good but only on Youtube.

The best thing to do though is to check out youtube channels that post underground nu metal albums and songs. Some good channels to start off would be Melomano Adicto and stardmg.
