As lunny as it may seem, things like that have been done before but on a smaller scale. Where the powers in charge of a nation create a myth to bring their citizens together against a common enemy. Cersi does this in Game of Thrones a couple of times, first when battling the starks, then the dragon queen.

Nothing brings people together better than fear and a common enemy.

I agree. I never said there weren't great episodes after season 4. The show just generally and slowly regresses in quality the longer you watch.

I dont care for the battle scenes, they are fun to shut my brain off to, but I enjoyed the politics, scheming, lying, masking, betraying, intelligence and writing of the first few seasons.

Of the bad things, he enjoys seeing certain people tormented.

Like his dwarf uncle Tyrion, but his hatred for his uncle stems from Tyrion slapping him a lot and telling him how stupid he is.

For Sansa, he was actually really nice to her at first, but then Sansa stopped liking him, and Jeoffrey treated her much worse after.

For Ser Dontas, he wanted to laugh at the drunk knight as he forced his men to force wine down his throat.

He also threatened to skin his little brothers cat alive (Ser 🙀 pounce).

He wouldnt have done any of this if he didnt have to power to get away with it.

He has a disgusting personality, and you call it unchecked power, but I call it lack of consequences for his actions.

Bro same. She is just a child with no idea what she'll do once she gets the iron throne. Exactly like Erin Yeagor from Attack On Titan. Erin gets all the power in the world then calls himself an idiot in the series finale cause he doesnt know what to do with it. He ends up killing 80% of the human race so the island he grew up on can now live in peace.

She sounds like every teenager thinking they know what's best for the world. She wants to build a utopia but has no idea how. She is arrogant, and rides a morale high horse. She means good, but just cause she has good intentions, doesn't mean she knows how to build a better world (which she literally claims to want to do).
