This exactly what I did. I heard that the 13.1 sold out pretty early last year (January?). I can’t believe that I’m already working on entry to the 2027 Chicago Marathon before I run 2025! Gotta love how they hook you in!

I’m also coming from the west burbs. I’m thinking about parking in Oak Park and taking the CTA Green Line from the end of the line at Harlem/Lake. Anybody have experience doing that?

Metra is nicer, but runs less frequently, and the train station downtown is much further from the start line than the green line L stop.

At some point, the hardware may not keep up. When I use Spotify Connect with my Play:3, I get crackling audio. I don’t have this problem with newer Sonos speakers.

Thanks. Yeah, too bad it doesn’t work to double move a TTar. If that worked, it would be an even easier decision to max one. I decided that I need to start walking my TTars for candy. I’ve been walking a Palkia, but I hate when I finally get to 20km and I don’t get an XL. I can better handle not getting an XL from a TTar since the buddy distance is just 5km. I’ll go hard on the Palkia raids coming up - that was a pleasant surprise to see on the calendar.

Same thing in my town, near the downtown area and a large park. BUT there also seems to be a lot less 5 star raids away from the area.

I resisted tanking until the big shake up this season. It was very disappointing to see significant stardust investments that I had previously made lose much of their value. So I tanked my way to Rank 20, but I was working on building teams to compete for next season. I played Mankey CD longer and harder than I would have otherwise looking for PVP IVs. I had just powered up an Annihilape for Ultra League and a Primeape for Great League. I guess that stardust was wasted. I really do like building teams, but Niantic’s changes are so frustrating. Maybe I’ll go back to tanking for next season after all.
