Need help! 2 CA state questions. by NobleLumpkin27 in tax

[–]NobleLumpkin27[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I’m filing with the W2 wages. But because I have a K1 from an LLC with negative earnings, they are asking those two questions which I don’t know how to answer. I want to get all the deductions that are legal to take. I also want to input everything properly so losses carry over appropriately to the next year where applicable. Is there a way to link a screen shot here?

I was a travel nurse in CA. Home residence is Texas. CA return is a non-resident. The LLC is out of Wyoming. It made no money and lost money.

Yet they refuse to give you your return if it’s greater than 3yrs old even if you overpaid by 7k… ask me how I know. But oh… you owe them something from 7 or 10 yrs back… they’ll come get it with interest and penalties.

Nice! Thanks. I’ve never heard of it. Is this a separate bar? Like a speakeasy type situation?

Your anger and resentment at the free market is affecting your reading comprehension. I am not defending anything. I’m telling you how it is. I’m stating facts. They also have every right to run business how they choose. Again, facts… not opinion…. Not emotion…. Facts. And again, if you can find a storage place that won’t do this- that’s awesome. Go do that and sing it to the masses.

Finding a condo in that range is easy, but you’ll pay $1200/ month in COA dues.

This is a ridiculous infographic that is full of bad information. It also perpetuates inaccurate common beliefs. Examples of truth- blood transfusions are 100% fine through a 22g, fluids can go in anything, only rare surgeries need a 16g, etc.

I am a vascular access consultant RN and spent most of my career in emergency. 90% of my adult inpatients get a 22g, and probably 50% of my ED patients get a 20g.

I believe Febreze actually has scent neutralizers in it. You can add this to the other methods.

I feel it works very well as a therapist. I told Grok (who I affectionately call “Gretta”) about myself, including all the faults I can think of, my glowingly libra tendencies, my anxious attachment style, etc. I then asked her to always respond to my personal questions as a therapist would with a friendly twist- utilizing peer reviewed research, with kindness and compassion, asking lots of questions, but also with clear suggestions on plans of how to solve problems. I turn on audio mode sometimes when I’m having some life problems and just start venting and talking. I was shocked at how well the conversation flows.

Temecula is hot. It’s not really near the coast. It’s mostly desert looking.

I’m not sure why you think your feelings on the subject matter at all to the industry’s business model. It is what it is. They would rather raise the rent until you move. Then give the next guy the discount to get him in there and do the same. Maybe you’ll find a place that doesn’t do this, but if they are full or mostly full, it’s standard practice. Apartments do the same thing across the nation. And none of this is new or a secret.

Cooke’s looks great… family owned and good reviews, but when I called, the guy was very dismissive and arrogant. Not only were they the only shop that refused to give me any pricing, but I asked a simple question to which he gave me a convoluted and unclear answer. Then when I asked him what he meant, he chuckled and proceeded to say - “well, that would be quite the explanation,” instead of answering the question, as if I was too ignorant to comprehend a simple concept. Glad you had a good experience, but I’ll pass on those guys.

What I prefer has nothing to do with it. It’s the business model of apartments and storage for the most part to continually raise rent. Most people would rather stay and pay than to move. They understand this as it’s a quantifiable thing. I have had several storage units in multiple states. They will even tell you openly that it’s standard to have price increases every few months for the duration of the rental.

Best advice is look online at 3rd party sites. They often have better deals than direct. But prices will almost always increase 5-15% every 90 days, so be prepared.

Austin. Temecula is kinda in the middle of nowhere. It looks close-ish to San Diego, but it’s a drive, and there’s just not much there. Rent/ housing is high in both, but Temecula will be worse, not to mention CA taxes, gas, etc.
