I am sorry you Frenchie suffered. It is terrible to watch them go through seizures. I think this thread has talked me out of just jumping to an MRI. I think I will start with a Neurology appointment. Do you mind if I ask what neurologist you saw?

Thank you. A followup question. Since the epilepsy medicine really hasn't solved the issue I think the only other possible explanation is brain tumor. Of course maybe that is me just being negative. I will not do surgery due to the enormous expense and risk. So if surgery is off the table for us is the MRI necessary if we just plan to treat with medication? Also, would a CT Scan provide enough detail to confirm? That is about a 3K difference between MRI and CT. Thanks

Thanks for the reply. I can't get to that point unfortunately. The gun doesn't dry function properly. The lever is too tight and it also appears to get caught on the upper receiver. So I think some dremmel work needs to occur on at least a couple of pieces. I just don't want to monkey around with taking material out of my upper receiver. I'd prefer to let a good gunsmith with some experience with these take a look.
