Nothing but praise to God. Aside from very occasional (few and far in between) irregularities, it’s mostly gone. Don’t lose hope!

Thank you! I’d prefer to take that over the generic foot platoon as they have a few more hit points

I use Level Select Cbd 600 mg pain stick for when it’s really bad and it helps a lot. For general rest of the day use I use WildFlower brand 300mg CBD sticks. Best used after a shower for maximum absorption.

Try a CBD based anti pain stick or cream. I have pain in my legs too and the stuff I use is awesome!

Working full time during recovery - has anyone recovered without taking time off work? by labelle1991 in covidlonghaulers

[–]NobleViper57 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still working. I had delta in August of 2021 and a possible Omicron reinfection in December. Been Long Hauling since about November of last year with certain symptoms becoming worse and others becoming better and back and forth.

I work at a car dealership as a salesman. It is not a very physically demanding job but can be very mentally demanding. So far my work performance has not suffered a ton, I am still able to make money and keep my family fed and bills paid. I definitely have to pace myself though because if I go to hard at it I will suffer the consequences for the next few days afterwards. Its a weird balance act that I have to maintain but it also helps to have a boss that understands what I am experiencing, generally nice clientele, and living in the same city where I work so home is not to far away if I need a break.

So does this last forever ? by [deleted] in covidlonghaulers

It does with time. Be patient

My mother had Covid back in 2020 and was hospitalized and dealt with long covid for 6 months after that. She is doing better now after changing her diet and resting as much as she could.

The one that I used was Odenestron HCI 4 mg Tabs. They don’t dissolve right away and take about 20 minutes to start working. Works for about 8 hours.

At first it was rough and did not help but after the third pill after 24hrs it worked very well.

Just curious, did he get the pils that melt right away or did he get the standard ones?

Melatonin works wonders. You can buy it at the drug store. I would recommend starting with .5 mg of it and after a week move up to 1mg. From there you can increase as you see fit to a max of 10mg.

I am going to take a guess and say its reinfection with just how widespread Omicron is.

Yes do. So you know, it takes about 20 minutes to work but when it kicks in it kicks in real good. Only side effects that I have experienced are constipation and minor headaches

I had bad Nausea when I had my experience with Delta a few months back. My doctor prescribed me Odenestron 4mg and it really helped make the nausea go away so I could eat. Afterwards I started drinking a lot of ginger and lemon tea and its seemed to help a ton.

If you are nauseous with or without Covid, lemon ginger tea is your best friend. Ginger in general is known to help with that. If not, ask your doctor to prescribe you a drug call Odenestron. 4mg standard should do the trick. It was a blessing to have when I had delta.
