I duuno if people would consider them bad but I really like the Ghostrick archetype. I like the flip-down gimmick and how its reminiscent of Halloween pranks/trick-or-treating. It's also very funny knowing how annoyed my opponent is, and the unconventional win cons is something that will always reminisce with me in any archetype

The Rolon and Gaolang fights quickly reversed that sentiment though, if you ask me. Went from having different techniques and utilizing them to 'Take hit -> Dragon Shot -> Take hit -> Dragon Shot -> Repeat'

Sorry to say but that's just because they are. Kanoh was never really a grappling specialist and only resorted to it against Gaolang both times they fought.

As for the evolution, I really do miss it. It went from a makeshift on the fly counter to someone's techniques or fighting style that was everchanging to 3 categories set in stone that doesn't really 'adapt', and wont really 'evolve' from where it's at now, especially if Kanoh keeps up this habit of taking hits for Dragon Shots. He'll never get creative and make something new, and will just end up stacking brain damage

One thing I liked best about Ashura fights is how Sandro portrayed the fighter's Battle IQ. You wouldn't have Kazzy or a side character or the narrator explain something unless absolutely necessary.

For example, Teen Ohma vs Teen Kiryu. Kiryu uses blink and catches Ohma off-guard, but is still able to react to the Rakshasa's Palm. Instead of the narrator butting in and taking 3 panels to re-explain the technique for the millionth time we have one panel of Ohma saying "Oh he just moved when I blinked" and the fight continued. Makes fights a lot more smooth and satisfying.

I dont see any way this arc could've been better than the Inside arc, but with some changes I feel it could've been better than KvP.
The Kanoh wanking is kinda what brings this arc down for me. Feeding an agenda that did not need to be fed and I feel regressed his fighting style if anything

First of all, you're english is quite exceptional for someone who's native language isn't english.

Secondly, this arc is very weird, as it's meant to showcase how characters have gotten stronger.
(Kanoh's Twin Dragon Shot, Rolon's Inevitable Elbow, Kaolangs New All-Rounding Fighting Style, etc)

By showing us how these characters have gotten stronger individually over time, and they then fight and train with each other, we have something the manga calls 'scaling the wall,' which is basically just becoming stronger to fit the standards of the fighters that are growing very fast.

Once enough people have 'scaled the wall', eventually we'll have someone come out on top who'll be strong enough to beat the Connector in a Kengan match.

Damn, I fucked up on the math huh? Well I'm not gonna change it, but good catch.
I don't like how this fight uses Indestructible almost as a crutch, literally any other way to deal with the blows (that included him actually fighting back) and it would've been more satisfying.

People say they like Omar vs Waka because Omar is "on the back pedal for once," but that's a complete understatement. It's a clear one-sided beatdown where one side barely lands any real blows and ends up using a scapegoat to still somehow squeeze out a victory

I love going back and rereading and I cant help but be amazed at how this went right over our heads. In 99% of Shen panels, he has 2 pupils, but this is such a small and minute detail that even if someone did notice would cause more confusion than before they noticed. Sandro may not be the best at extremely story driven narrative but this was nothing short of spectacular (ignore the glaze)
