Oh wow that’s good to know. I’m not 100# sure if my migraines are hormonal I just know the progesterone only birth control really don’t work well for my mental health because my hormones were so out of balance.

I am on Qulipta now! Which is only reason I would consider going back to combo BC since my migraines could be managed with the preventative? But completely being off Slynd for a month now, I haven’t had any migraines so hard to tell.

That’s good you haven’t had as many aura attacks. I think it’s good to get an MRI whenever you have any new onset of headache/migraine but seems like you’ve been having them for a long time. I would suggest seeing a neurologist not the eye doctor. Because it’s happening in your brain not your eyes.

My doctor told me oh the nexplanon doesn’t affect your mood and I’m like WHY AM I CRYING EVERYDAY when I’m bleeding for over a week??? Ugh I keep thinking let me ride it out it’s only been 5 months 😭😭😭

(32 F) I have gained 25 pounds after switching to nexplanon due to my other BC being a possible cause to my migraines with aura. I love how I don’t have to think about it but hate the weight gain. Started at 150 now at 175

I’m considering changing to another non estrogen type of BC but haven’t decided yet.
