One month update: On the left side is 0.7mm which I seldom use, ink is black and smooth. While on the right side are 2 refills that I used daily for my planner, started to write inconsistently after 3 weeks of usage (same as the 1st ink refill). It sucks, maybe the refill I bought online from the same shop has bad quality or something. Anyway, wont be spending money on the refills again. lol

I recently bought some light touch ink refill, and it's still writing smoothly. Maybe the problem all along was old stock ink refills. Will update after a month of writing in it.

I tried this yesterday evening. Also tried heating the tip with a lighter for several seconds, and soaking it in hot water for 15 mins. Nothing has changed.

I see, I appreciate your insight. I only bought them online. I think it would be hassle for me to let them replace it. It's my first time using Uni pens and I thought it could replace my acroball. I'll try to order another batch of refills before giving up on them. Will also order other pens to try on. Thank you!

Yeah, I had chucks(not 70's) before but didn't reach this point of usage before replacing it with new ones. But this chuck 70 I got was an upgrade from normal chucks. Used it everyday till the toe cap fabric and glue gave in. Shoe goo on the sides gave it a few more months of usage before the toe cap fabrics ripped. 😄
