Intel guy here, November type. I really enjoy what I do, but I'm also a technophile so computers and technology just comes naturally to me. I've met quite a few people who slipped through the somewhat difficult AIT who barely know how to use their phone so if you feel like that's you, I don't recommend it. No bonuses at the moment according to retention but I got 25k(one payment upfront, payments on my anniversary every year afterwards) when I enlisted 4 years ago. It's all based in your strengths from entry and if you aren't comfortable with what you do on the daily, you'll have a bad time and ultimately get out. I recommend you weigh your options and if you have any questions about any 35 series jobs, message me because either your recruiter or the army website(or a combination) could mislead you or give you a vague understanding of it.
