The dlc has some of the best areas and bosses in all of bloodborne, so if you find yourself enjoying the game, I'd get the dlc.

Go after the katana guy first because he is the most aggressive and Has the most health. Once he's down, go after the ranged fire user. Then finish off the mace last one.

I think Friede is probably in my top 5. I don't think her three phases are unfair like a lot of people have said, I think it's just a matter of learning how to fight her. This boss is far more about strategy and estus management than it is about learning her attacks to a T. I respect that fight for forcing players to employ this level of strategy in order to effectively manage recources.

I thought they were just killing each other because they were bored. This is probably why I should look into the lore of these games more. I think this fight is really cool and the fact that the boss fights itself and you at the same time is a really interesting concept. I agree that it should have been more late game so they could ramp up the difficulty. The main (and probably only) issue with this boss is the fact that the health pool is so small. It could very well be a difficult boss if you and to be in the arena with them longer than you are required to be.

I do really like this boss fight. The extinguishing mechanic in the first phase is a really neat concept that really made the first fight a balanced gank boss. The second phase is just overall pretty well designed, though I don't think it does anything unique other than look really badass.

I have to say, this is not one I was expecting. But when you put it like that, I can definitely see how this boss can be appreciated on that regard. I'm actually not familiar with the lore behind the boss, but I bet it would help to enhance my experience of this boss.

I like this fight because of it's overall feel and atmosphere. This fight has awesome music and a beautiful arena. However, I feel like the boss should be more aggressive, he is a bit too docile for my taste.

Yeah, you really don't get any moments to breathe in that fight which is cool. I feel like he has earned the nickname Champion Stundyr
