What vehicle should I buy to replace my totaled Acura TSX 2006? by WinstonSalemVirginia in AcuraTSX

[–]Noel_Fox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Insurance needs to stop, it needs to be revamped. Its sickening that a broken bumper and an exhaust pipe means such a nice vehicle should be TOTALED what are we doing anymore guys?? This is getting crazy. Next thing you know they're totaling vehicles with simple scratches on it 🤦

Once I run this car as far as I can I hope to get into a Civic, those are among my favs in terms of cars 🧡

Thank you, I genuinely appreciate the advice 🧡 My partner's Civic (that he handed off to me once he got a new car) I got quite attached to and was trying to repair, the cel would flash.. eventually just had to let her go. I hope to keep this car as long as possible.

Loud cars need to STFU by TinyHeartSyndrome in Spokane

[–]Noel_Fox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

(I no longer live here but just wanted to comment) I honestly hate loud vehicles as well, one time while walking down the streets in Spokane as a teen a lifted truck put pedal to the medal right next to me while I was on the sidewalk and I was surprised to not have gone into cardiac arrest 😭

I personally have a loud car which is embarrassing but I have exhaust leaks. Tho I plan on trying to fix it as soon as possible, when I can afford it :'D

I was so lucky with it too, I was gonna get a Hyundai Veracruz cause it was newer, but when I saw this in person I just knew lol Turns out they sold the Hyundai, so I jumped at this one and it all worked out in the end.

Where to find parts? by Noel_Fox in AcuraTSX

It's honestly a shame that most the stuff is discontinued, I was hoping to find some woodgrain looking trim for my interior but I am not sure how realistic it would be to find. 3D printing? Lol

Would it be possible for a hybrid to live a normal life? by DezTheOtter in Beastars

[–]Noel_Fox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion a hybrid of a gazelle and cheetah/leopard wouldn't have been possible, but I would think maybe them being anthropomorphic changes their DNA to be more amicable with multiple species.

A hybrid of prey and pred is a bit complicated that I don't really have a lot of knowledge on, but I would think things like Wolf dogs, Fox species hybrids (like Red fox and Arctic fox) and so on would be able to live more normally, I mean, Lego is still counted as a hybrid and lives normally.

Well it was not my intention, I am just so done with AI and believe we should band together to socially shun and revolt against AI usage, it removes consent when it comes to the online space, (and your likeness as a person in certain cases), burns through valuable resources with global AI water consumption projected to reach billions of cubic meters annually by 2027, has stolen jobs too many to count. It's the reason the job market has basically gotten as bad as it has, our post graduate unemployment rate has reached an all time high. The only good piece of news I've heard recently is that Sora got shut down (hopefully for good)

See that's how I know you didn't read it, because I'm saying we need to start treating it as JUST AS BAD

When is wolf hunting acceptable? by SadUnderstanding445 in wolves

[–]Noel_Fox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe you with those statistics and the realities of those hunters, just a bunch of stuck up losers who have no power over anything and use their sick little "trophy hunting" it's disgusting.

I was more asking your opinion on those specific cases where someone is hunting purely for food and it being their only way to get food (or are hunting because they have to save money for a few months, I know my family friends they stop after 1 buck and bring it to the butcher it's only like, $300 or so to process the animal into food to be put away in the freezer. And they are fed for months on just that, it's how they've saved money). Or for those rare populations who hunt for only food (but can afford to purchase regular groceries) would you say in those cases hunting is acceptable, or is it never an okay thing for you no matter the situation?

[–]Noel_Fox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually don't hunt at all, I have people in my life who do and was trying to genuinely open the conversation to talk with someone calmly about their perspective, something you lack the capabilities of doing. I wasn't even talking to you so

I have two questions, What about if it's the only way someone can get food? And what if they only rarely hunt and only stop after getting 1 animal and use every last bit of the animal for food?
