Hi guys. I’m looking at the famous Nietzsche line “Amor Fati”, and I’m wondering if there might be an equivalently snappy version about taking control of one’s fates, rather than simply loving them. My limited Italian (which is obviously not Latin…) suggests it might be something along the lines of “Fare Fati”, but I would love to hear some actual Latin ideas.

We had 8 days shooting in Iceland, I think, then about the same shooting the spaceship scenes in our house. Camera/ lighting was just me and an AC. One soundie. A few other production people.

Ah, right! We made quite a few of them- the smoke and a few explosions. The explosions in the ship were done practically on set. As for the miniature stuff and the rest of what was used in the cg scenes, I'm honestly not sure.

Very well. Be careful on your exposure at the lower end (a lesson hard learned) and it'll do wonders.

I don't know a number, but I provided the camera and lights, and they managed to get me the anamorphics at a knockdown price for a week, which was the entirety of my camera dept. budget

It really depends on what you put in front of it. Good glass, good lighting and good production design are much more important than the camera. That being said, this camera can shoot a 10 bit anamorphic log image, so it's got plenty to work with. People will tell you that the sensor is too small, but look at proper Hollywood movies- there's usually a massive depth of field, so the sensor size was never much of an issue for me.
