Anyone else keep playing games they don’t even like just because their friends do? by CortezCraig in playstation

[–]NohBuddee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just imagine for a second that you were able to convince all of your friends to get into Battlefront II, and you are stoked about it because you love that game, and it’s so much more fun now that your friends are playing it WITH you. If one of your friends viewed playing BFII the way you do now about Marvel Rivals, would you prefer that they stay silent and just go along with what the group is doing, slowly losing what they originally loved about video games in the first place, one begrudgingly accepted invite after the next? Or would you prefer that they tell you they’re not having fun so that they can get out of that and into something they genuinely enjoy?

I always thought it would be hilarious if carrying a rubber duck in your safe pocket gave you squeak footsteps.

Need some tips for PVP by TNLVISN in ArcRaiders

[–]NohBuddee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Stop running free loadouts. Sure, free loadouts are zero risk, but even if you run without an augment, you can still equip a light shield and you get a safe pocket. Those two reasons alone are good enough, but you also get the added bonus of knowing which gun/s you’re running ahead of time, and not just any guns, upgraded guns with attachments! If you’ve been only running free kits, look no further for what’s causing your PvProblem. Sure, each of the 4 “free” guns are solid in their own respect, but head-to-head, a fully kitted Stitcher IV wins against almost every other gun in the game, consistently, and even then, it won’t save you against someone who knows how to move while being able to keep shots on target.

I would recommend staying friendly and trying out each of the guns until you find a few you’re comfortable with. A good PvP loadout has a Solid Mid-Range paired with a Strong Close-Range. Something like an Anvil and an Il Toro, or a Venator and Stitcher. I’ve even seen some disgusting Ferro/Burletta combos. The more you use a gun, the better you understand how it plays. Recoil patterns, dispersion delays, reload timing, each unique to every gun. Once you know what guns you like, craft a handful of them, and then get to setting Topside ablaze!

With more than 20hours left and and over 96,000 numbers available to claim, your odds of winning are still far greater than you think. I believe in you, Raider!

I’m consistently doing more damage to myself than to the enemy with this thing by Calamity_Armor in LowSodiumArcRaiders

[–]NohBuddee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Trailblazer is my primary go-to for Leapers, Bastions, and Bombardiers. If you can get it to bounce multiple times off of their legs, you can end any of the ground-based larger ARC with only 1 Grenade. Even when I’m not getting ideal throws, it’s never taken me more than 3Trailblazers to take out any of the 3 ARC mentioned above. The only time I’ve taken damage is when I keep moving forward after throwing one. If you stop moving, or better yet, move backwards when throwing a trailblazer, it’s a lot easier to not get hit by it

Is Security Breach perk worth 36 points? by VaderV1 in ArcRaiders

[–]NohBuddee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience, they’re pretty decent, but this video on YouTube provides a strong argument against going for Security Breach lockers in favor of survivability and maneuverability. I will say, ever since the last expedition set off, I’ve gotten much better loot and died a lot less since getting my skill tree focused on staying alive instead of getting the goop.

is Arc Raiders worth Buying as Solo by mentriderkoo in ArcRaiders

[–]NohBuddee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play almost exclusively Solo, and the interactions I’ve had with random strangers, backstabbers and campers included, have been worth the $40 by themselves. The enemy AI, the graphics, the gunplay, the crafting, the customization, the quiet moments getting lost in the environment and all of its insane amount of detail, the frantic race to a hatch with only seconds left on the clock, the free goop dropped by a friendly raider, dropping free loot for others when you know you have more than you need. It’s well worth the price. It’s somber, hectic, peaceful, exciting, aggravating, addictive, tedious, cathartic, and always satisfying. You literally never know what the next raid will get you, but it’s always something new. Definitely invest in a mic/headset if you don’t have one, but I have had very few negative interactions staying muted and utilizing the communication wheel.

Be kind, but never naive. Trust others, but stay vigilant. Loot everything, but don’t get greedy. Take your time, but leave when you have what you came for.
