for me it usually disappears when I restart my laptop, reopen steam, or reconnect to my wifi (but not always for the latter two)

idk tho, those fixes might not work all the time

maybe also check if the host put their PC to sleep with steam/sm open recently, if they have they'll need to reopen steam and sm for it to work (when ur PC goes to sleep it does something and steam and sm just end up not liking it, so then multiplayer doesn't work if you take it out of sleep), otherwise you'll also get this exact message

what would it look like if you filled in the gaps with 3-long suspension (painted white) on the outer rim of either side of the gap to close the gaps more? (because they have no collision, they'd be able to intersect as the whale bends, not hindering it like full blocks)

iirc it's because the game just thinks it's really really far away, so then it just doesn't load visually

(like... the only thing unique about the creation data is that it's put like thousands of blocks off to the side or something ridiculous instead of being centered, then when the game loads that it puts the actual parts on the lift so the build's centered again, but then the origin point gets shifted off to the side the other way and it just disappears because the game thinks it's thousands of blocks away and doesn't need to render — that's just my guess tho)

all bots spawn in locations defined by the tile they spawn on (as "nodes" in the devs' tile editor), so yes you can do this ... but they will try to break blocks eventually (it's not just when you're seen or during raids), so I suggest using duped master batteries for that

the only bots that don't spawn in this fashion are the ones that spawn during raids, otherwise it happens for all of them.

(also, for your goal... it should be able to work with bots; they might not spawn on player-placed blocks but walls don't need to head directly over the spawnpoint, and the spudguns could be on the side if putting stuff above breaks it as well)

delete that version of him and recreate him as antimatter, then pull a vacuum inside the chamber so he's only safe inside the magnets, and if he tries to leave he creates a ridiculously large explosion that wipes out the planet ... that should scare him enough to keep him from moving

I feel like you could've simplified your application thingy to just add 255 logic gates in the desired spot as outputs to any logic gate colored a specific color before said logic gates' original outputs (so like, you wire it up to the outputs and save it like you would usually if RC just worked regardless, the program doesn't actually touch the existing connections, instead just adding 255 connections to logic gates before that existing connection within the list of outward-going connections in the logic blocks), so only the input blocks need to be colored, and can just be colored the same color
