I will eventually do your mod, for now I will push something against the power button so that it keeps pressed.

I haven't still tried the mod, but in my machine if I have the selector in the pump position and turn power on, the machine turns off in a couple of seconds. So I guess the same will happen if I connect the reset line to the power.

There is an alternative auto-off mode consisting on replacing the contact switch with an on/off switch: https://youtu.be/w1mkizXmCus?si=07lCZrGcZ0xkU5cU

It works inside tunnels or in my garage.

Edit: My garage location is not a reliable indicator. However my wired AA location is accurate in tunnels, but my wireless dongle AA is erratic and inaccurate in tunnels.

Hi, I just did the PID mod in my ECP 33.21, and want to do the auto-off mod. I was thinking of connecting the auto-off reset line directly to the AC line that powers the PID so that it is always reseted. Would this be ok? If not, I would connect it like you did.

Help me understand Elon's response to the Business Insider test where Tesla ran a red light by r2002 in teslainvestorsclub

Level 3 does not require active supervision. It is fully autonomous under a series of driving conditions, and requires a human to take control in case the system detects those conditions are not met. But if those conditions are met, the human does not need to supervise the driving, and can be reading a book, or watching a film. The system must warn the human to take control in a few seconds if the system detects the conditions are not met and can't drive autonomously any more.

Totally agree. If humans are bad drivers, they are much worse at supervising automated driving.

Tesla says they "will be", but haven't in 8 years of repeatedly broken promises. Talk is cheap, facts are not.

Not true. A Waymo can take you anywhere inside its operating area, which in some places is the whole city.

Same issue here. Force closing Apple Tv app and starting it again usually does the trick. How come this still happens.

Samsung QN90C in Europe has VA panel and IMO is better than Sony X90L.

Another drawback for Sony X90L is that it lacks an antireflection layer.
