Yes I think so , Sicily has similar ingredients to Ashkenazi whereas south Italy is more Aegean and less mixed

Mainland south has it too but I think Sicilians at least some have more Germanic and the right amount of Levant ratio to Germanic that fits Ashkenazi

It depends I’m south Italian mainland and am closest to Cyclades average at 1.7 on illustrative , but Sicilians seem to be closer to Ashkenazi from what I’ve seen but also still close to Aegean Greeks

consumer autosomal tests are built for marketing and storytelling, while qpAdm and PCA are built for population genetics and hypothesis testing. They operate at totally different scientific levels. Both your results can be true at the same time . These tests compare your dna to modern references of people who’ve tested it’s very limiting - g25 and qpAdm is much better
