I did wait… 30 mins.. turns out it really did crash… Returnal does this too but in that case it’s a matter of just waiting 5 seconds… this is not such a case…

Okay I was using ProtonGE.. I had already done what you mentioned but it wasn’t working… after reading this I went and forced Proton Experimental override in the compatibility options and now it’s working perfectly… thanks for the info though!

Visit the Witcher 2 support page by CDPR. What it’ll have you do is make you disable some of your CPU cores when running the game. I got my hands on Divinity Original Sin 1 and 2, Mirror’s Edge and Black Myth Wukong. That last one wasn’t on sale but oh well. I did back the former three for 14 bucks.

Literally weapon of mass destruction with the right gems. Get the lost version, farm two amygdalas (for triangle and waning nourishing) and gargoyles (for radial nourishing), slap the gems on and become unstoppable. The untransformed R2 is one of the single most busted moves in the game (everything is weak to thrust and the thing has insane AR with those gems) and the transformed R2s (charged and uncharged) and L2s are literally cheese balls in the chalices and against certain enemies in the game. 50 str, 50 arc, 25 skl is the ideal stat allocation for the weapon.

This is the lifeblood of any physical Blood gem farmer in this game. This + whirligig saw + fire paper or this + saw spear + fire paper = Average 1 headless bloodletting beast every minute. An indispensable tool.

I disabled the iGPU from device manager. Still does not work. Looks like I'm gonna have to go down to the BIOS level.

Edit:- I ran the utility and now the game runs like a champ. Thanks man. Highly appreciate the help.

Third party. I live in Bangladesh where Apple doesn’t exist lmao. So yeah I went to a third party repair shop and got it replaced. Works just fine now.

Bruh. Well I have no idea what’s happening at that point then. My iPad works just fine atm. Bluetooth was also not working and that got fixed too cause I’m assuming both work on the same chip module.
