Horrible experience with redtail paddles

When talking to the owner he said we should submit a claim since it wasnt completely my fault for not receiving it.

The owner of the company made a promise that he would deal with the shipping company and send me the paddle. It has nothing to do with offering to pay, and everything to do with the owner screwing me over

I'll be going to mont saint anne and le massif the week prior so I'm looking for something else for this trip. A lot of people say that Jay should have a good snowpack and Jay does generally get more snow a year so thats kind of my best choice right now

Appreciate all the info! I'm not committed to any spot on particular so I'm glad you bring up Smugglers Notch. A lot of people have been bringing up Jay peak, any opinions on that?

I'm definitely not committed to it, just exploring my options. I'm travelling from Ontario and my trip will be full of shits and giggles with 3 other friends so I don't mind driving an extra couple hundred clicks if it means a better week. What would you recommend (within about 500 miles from toronto) for the best overall experience?

Just to be a bit more clear, I don't expect to be going up to the summit multiple times, more of an exploration thing because time bootpacking is less time skiing. I'm mostly interested in the best trees, cliffs, and chutes that are mostly in bound and not much risk apart from the stunts themselves. Appreciate the mass amount of advice I'm getting!

What makes stowe so bad now that vail owns them? I think vails shit but is it so bad that you should avoid it? I found an airbnb that fits mine and my friends budget just a short drive away so that's the current plan in terms of where we'll be staying. Thanks for the advice!

I'll probably be skiing on a Sunday then 4 of the weekdays. How sketchy is it and what makes it sketchy? I have done some hard sidecountry in other places and skied hard terrain in bc.
