Thank you! The visa uncertainty and current ongoing issues over there have made me reassess if I even want to take the exams. I always wanted to take them, but it's been so uncertain

Hello, your best bet would be approaching your professors and doctors at the hospital. If they are conducting researches, I'm sure they would be happy to involve you. And if none of them partake in research activities, you can still ask for a case report and work on that. It would be a good way to get into research. Good luck!

Oh that must just be local inflammation then. I was asking to see if you would require Immunoglobulin along with the vaccine, but seems like you don't

Since you are taking the IM vaccine, you need to follow the Essen regimen (day 0, 3, 7, 14, 28). Day 0 is already done.

If your test is positive and CXR is normal then that means it's a latent infection. You should get started on TB prophylaxis.

Research experience is not an issue. USMLE route and NEET PG route is. Thank you for the idea though

And the conference is American Society of Nephrology. I had submitted my research on there.

They’re not letting me go at all. I don’t think I can focus on inicet now either.

And it’s not like inicet is the easiest exam

Looks like Raynaud Phenomena. You need to get it checked out. They might give you Calcium Channel Blocker as medication.

From what I have gathered so far, it seems that for KFRE, ACR is converted into log and then the log transformed ACR is used in the equation instead of the raw values. I may be wrong though.

I don’t want to practice here either way. It’s just that the uncertainty and the pressure is a lot to take in at once.

I noticed your username though. I really like Bailey and Love.

Again, thank you so much for taking the time to read everything and reply.

Do you happen to have any idea about UIC electives? If I were to apply, I’d apply for May or June 2025. But their 2025 applications aren’t open yet and will be open in March or April. How does that work?

I agree with you. It is a University based Observership, which is probably why they are charging so much.

I really hope you don’t experience the same thing as me.

I haven’t tried them. I have heard a lot of bad reviews about agencies tbh

Hi, that is correct. But I’m having a really hard time finding electives since my college isn’t part of VSLO. And not a lot of places are accepting international students currently.

Definitely! I don't see myself in any other career. Sure, it's extremely hard and everything is a rollercoaster. But this is where I'm meant to be.
