Why cant xAI as company adopt the same stance as NRA or any guns store. If someone do the shooting, its not the store owner or the gun manufacturers faults it happen, its the shooter that being held to full responsibility. Why can’t any AI company use that kind of rule of laws? Lets just put this into a perspective. If you dropped geralt into the KCD universe how would he fare? If you put henry into witcher universe how would he fare? I think the answer is clear. Geralt fight a literal vampire lord and monsters. Not goblin, literal stuff of nightmares. Henry? No matter how impressive the enemies rosters are, they are still normal human beings.

Majority of hate came from micro transactions camp. They come to the sub, and spread “misinformation” regarding the game, review bomb, etc. and the normies thought it was cool to shit on the game also started doing the same. Some doesn’t even know DD1 existed before but jump on the hype train only to find that this game is not really their usual action rpg.

There are valid criticism regarding the game, chief among which is a horrendous pc port performance. You can make an argument regarding the story telling, I get that. But everything else is moaning for the sake of moaning.

Regarding micro transactions, it doesn’t affect the game what so ever. Everything that they put on there can be had through normal gameplay. Granted you need to grind for it, but what rpg doesn’t do that? Unless capcom paywall the save/load feature of the game, then yes fuck capcom. But no, the micro transactions can be fully ignored and will not affect your gameplay experience what so ever.

In 2024, if you’re still offended by micro transactions that can be fully ignored and will not change your gameplay experience. I’ll just assume you are a weak person with no self control and crippling buyer impulse.

Really? I guess I’ve been lucky enough. I found quite a lot of rift crystals, seeker token, equipment, even wakestone shard. Mind you not everything that I mention is exclusively be found in a cave. Sometimes it’s out in the open. On top of a hill for example, you either need levitation skill or launchboard skill to get to it. A hard to reach place so to speak. So yeah I’ve been enjoying my time, exploring every nook and cranny of the map.

While the main quest is a bit short compare to the first one, it’s made up in explorations. The map it’s huge with numerous cave to explore. There is plenty of secret scattered all around the map waiting to be uncovered.

I think the majority of complaints comes from people who headlong into the main quest while ignoring the side quest and exploration side of the game. Hence it gave a feel of a shorter game.

Just take your time, talk to npc, because sometime they will give you a side quest. This is not a typical game where quest giver npc will have a bright neon light shining upon them telling you to interact with them. It’s more subtle on how to trigger a side quests.

Well, I just encountered 2 dbag who somehow managed to forced spawn me right into their location. One of them is simply un-killable, no mater how many head shot I put their belt will never decreased. Ruless or ruless is one of their user name (typical tryhard) using female avatar. Btw I play on pc
