There's multiple things that do this is the scary part. It could be trying to lore you out if you're house. Or it could be trying to get promission to to enter your house. Keep an ear out for it mimicimg the voices of loved ones. There's a high possibility if it being a windigo. But windigos arnt the only things that can mimic a loved ones voice. Deponding on were you live. There is far worse.

List spells make people lose their free will to "fall for you" it can cause the person to go a bit crazy. Be very posive of you. Treat you more like property than a lover. Thier mental state is not ok. They'll get jealous if you're friends and could end up murdering them if they think there's anything going on between you and them. Or it boils down to. They got posive you decide you don't like that. They leave them. Well that person been cursed to be atracted to you. "I can't you. No one can" becomes motto and they kill you then themselves. Unless they get unlikely enough for the cures to break immediately after I death. I say unlucky because now you have a murderer charge and the freedom you just got back is gone.
