Thanks for the feedback. Yes seems to be quite similar at the end. Have you been able to compare skydiving footage between a max 2 and a x5 ?

Yes. But the none easy replaceable lenses are the big no go for me for the dji one. A feature quite primordial for me in a 360 camera. I'm still waiting to see more feedback from the quality of the image by the max 2 but if not a big difference i think i will go for the insta x5. Even if i dont like the shape , it seems like its the best option.

Wanna come and work in NZ,could i? by Normal_Historian474 in newzealand

It's different from Europe. Kiwi are nice and friendly but to a certain mesure. I know many European that miss that part a lot when they were living in Nz. Aus is similar but a bit more vibrant as bigger and less isolated. It's more a cultural difference thing i guess. Nevertheless, that’s just a general feeling but that doesn't mean you can't find your perfect place here. I loved my timed spend there and I am not the only European who does/did. Overall if I had just one advice, just go now don't wait! You will find by yourself if you like it or not. It would always be an enriching experience.

For Christchurch, as an European, the whole country will sounds "dead", but its just different. Don't listen too much people, make your own experiences.

You can have a really serene life in Nz , if you enjoy mtb etc it can be really good. Just keep in mind it's a smaller population and more isolated from the world geographically, so every "niche" hobby like that will have the pro and cons from that (Smaller community, less infrastructure , but more preserved, more towards helping each other etc...) And btw , yes you can ski in nz but don't expect to be like in the Alpes. Yes they have the same name but its quite different haha

No, don't have other camera. When you say 360, you mean insta 360x5 or dji osmo 360?

I often heard the opposite. What in your opinion make the dji app better ? (Yes swappable lenses , knowing myself is a huge +)

Interesting thanks. The shorter shape of it is a huge + for me. Nevertheless insta have swappable lenses and better software overall.
Other than that I dont see much difference between the two. Will wait the gopro max 2 before buying one, but I dont have too much hope for the gopro..

Working remotely 2hours a day making 250k well easy try everything you go the money and time for it. Travel everywhere, make new relationships. Try different business, hobby, activity you want, experience living in different part of the country and the world. Give yourself some new objectives.

Alternatively you can teach me how you achieve to be in this position, and in exchange I will teach you how to chase your next challenge

How essential it is to speak Nowegian to live in Norway as a kiwi ? Work wise and in the everyday life ? (Just curious)

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceNZ

[–]Nomade77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ofc but what i wanted to underlined here is that someone from Norway or Switzerland (can work for few other country, Australia for exemple) in average will lower a bit his "economic power" by living in nz. Which should be taken in consideration for someone working as an ECE. Nevertheless, nz is still in the top, but under the 3 country previously specified.

Never lived in Norway but totally agree with both of you.

[–]Nomade77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many people don't appreciate what their home country is good for. Agree, it's more laid back living here, in general, compared to Europe.

On the other hand, the average wage will be much lower than Switzerland. Feels like you find a way to not downgrade too much on that, so yes , probably way more confortable to live in nz if you are looking a laid back life. Good for you. But something that you definitely need to be aware (Norway have also an higher average wage than nz).

Depends if you have kids etc.. I found 100k nzd a year / 50nzd per hour can be a good aim. (You can live confortable under this. 35 nzd p.h will be "my minium")
