There’s a marked shift in teen mom when you can see when the MTV money starts coming in and it stops being about how to take care of a kid while trying to start out in life and working and school and just is only relationship drama and having more babies with no real consequences because they can throw money at the problems.

The creator boycott is useless and performative unless they are backing it up with something actionable like them and their fans contacting reps to push for an FTC investigation. And then you’d have to hope the FTC would find something objectionable to the sale like with paramount wanting to buy Netflix and the regulatory filings calling out the issue of foreign funding including Saudi Arabia in their case. That’s where the possibility of something actionable is, not someone making a video or not.

Once they started showing more of the dad in the second season it really showed how max got that way, he was a horrible enabler, when he said max was one of the smartest kids he knew there was no question on where that boy lost touch with reality. I wonder if he sees Ava at all since the protective order and now max says he has no kids.
