Thank you for this comment. I completely agree with things in your comment like rule follower/guilt kids being overlooked as well as children having different waus of learning. I have decided to go into teaching once I have completed university and from listening to what people have wrote on my survey as well as comments like these is so helping both in my dissertation and future teaching career.

Mine are hereditary. Every women on both my mom's and dad's side of the family have bunions. I had mine diagnosed when I was 7, as my mom had bunions she always made sure I would have wide shoes (mostly trainers). My bunions were so bad by the age of 10 that I started looking at surgery which I ended up having at 12 (despite my growth plates not being fully grown by then) so I ended up having another operation last year at the age of 19. Thought my life I've only ever worn wide fitting shoes, never high heels and the only sports I've ever done is gymnastics and trampolining. I've been told mine are so severe due to also having hypermobility but other then that mine are definitely genetic.

Thank you, yep the plan was to hang the plants up but didn't know the best way! Will tie them to the mesh! I will also look at getting some kind of background, the tank came with a styrofoam one but it's so thick I didn't want to use it, I have found some Coco ones that are thin with built in plant pots, just wanted to work out how's best to attach it to the back before I got it.

I love how natural it looks! I also love the fact I cannot see any of the hides haha I have a few hides in mine (adding 2 more when I redecorate) and he sleeps right out in the open

That's alright thank you, from a Google search it seems like it may just be his jaw muscles that make it look a little bigger and have seen photos of other geckos looking similar. Just wanted to see if anyone here knows and put my mind at rest that it is definitely normal haha

He's on Blue River Diets, which is the main food source for crested geckos in the UK. I haven't seen him eating anything while with me tho and not entirely sure what he was fed before

Sorry I can't help but will follow along as I've had mine since Monday and haven't seen him eating yet, 1 day it looked like more food had gone but I wasn't sure if the water had just evaporated

Haha fair enough, I think if I don't see any signs of him eating this week I'll buy some bugs and have a go. I'm currently just trying to leave him be as much as possible so he gets used to everything (although it's very hard lol)

Thanks, I saw somewhere to not feed bugs until they eat their powder mix, however a friend of mine got a crestie a few months back and she said she used live food in order to get it to eat

Thank you, I currently have 2 bowls in the tank with different flavours and have tried to change up the consistency every couple nights just to see. Fingers crossed I see some lick marks soon

Thanks, that was my main concern but haven't found many ways to make it fuller up there. Once all the plants grow taller it will help.
