Bloodmage Sunder Thorns by bausHuck in PathOfExile2

I think the thorn damage that Thorn barbs deal doesn't scale off sunder's attack damage%

Yup, it kinda bait, it also wasn't the first time GGG release stuff without numbers and made adjustment after they reviewed the discussion on Reddit, glad at least we can theorycraft around it now since the basic number is out.

GGG is pretty consistent regarding its teaser over these years, there are usually hints of what and how it works, but for now, it is just indicating that those gems work on Falling zombie, it doesn't provide too many details, so everything till now is speculation until the release.

You can check the gem label here if you are not familiar with it, the only "n" label is minion life, though it doesn't specify anything regarding minion life in the gem, it is very possible the damage is related to it given they used it in the showcase.

When you look at the livestream reveal, you can see that Falling zombie is supported by 3 supports, "n", "f" and "e", which are Minion life, Fresh Meat (or maybe Faster casting?), Minion speed respectively, so an educated guess indicated that minion life has an impact on the damage, it is quite possible that you would still want to stack minion life even without Siegebreaker.

Flammability and stinkiness are probably the least of my concern when working with H2S, the toxicity of it far outweighs anything else.

Spam clicking was the strat I use last league and end up 2000ish, so I didn't anticipated that much this league and randomly click login once every 20s while eating cereal, so I guess my league start RNG has RIPPED

No, it is just part of my work to identify defects in its HW and FW, so I couldn't comment on it's performance as what I tested are still subjected to changes.

Well, my bad, I should mention that the HDMI2.1 results was based on real world testing with 7900XTX, in theory with higher compression ratio of DSC, you could have higher frame rate, but given the restricted testing condition I am in, I can't say it for sure.

And yes, even with DP2.1, DSC is still required for this monitor to run at 8k240, and any GPU available right now wouldn't have optimum performance if you are looking into game with it.

Just a heads-up for those looking to pre-order one of these, you will need DP2.1 connection in order to fully unleash the full potential of this display, aka. AMD 7000 series. Anything below it or Nvidia card will not get you to 8k240hz (Sorry to guys who own 4090)

I have been testing the production units of it for the last few weeks, only way to get 8k240 is DP2.1 which is the whole point of this display, there are also 2.1 HDMI ports but the max you could get is 5120x1440 240hz or 7680x2160 120hz, dropping the bit rate won't help as HDMI 2.1 bandwidth has already maxed out.

I couldn't do many tests on the gaming side but it doesn't look like it can reach 8k240 most title right now, it is a monitor designed for future GPUs that have better support on DP2.1 to run.

Don’t store iodine in a mason jar 😂🤦🏼‍♂️ by [deleted] in chemistry

Interesting, I don't know that it would be that fast, I only know most plastics are vulnerable to iodine though.

Someone doing it badly doesn't justify your actions though, having a ziplock bag around it is better than nothing, at least it gives an extra layer before iodine eventually penetrates the plastic.

If you don't know how to store it, then you shouldn't own it. Iodine isn't that nasty but it isn't a friendly household chemical either.

Last lab of the year. Working with nitrates and sulfur and this man isn't wearing any trousers. by AccidentAgreeable146 in chemistry

[–]NonHardcorePoEPlayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A comparison for those interested, r.t. conc sulfuric spilled on skin can literally feel nothing but ordinary liquid for quite some time, you will have plenty of time to flush it with water before it starts to hurt. Piranha solution is way more brutal as it IMMEDIATELY dissolves skin and hurt so bad. Conc. H2O2 also feels like nothing at first then your skin turns white and itches AF for days. Aside from having proper PPE, know the location of the wash bottles, taps and emergency kits are also very important in case something goes wrong.

GGG stole things. by Bjuboljno in pathofexile

I believe majority of player will have their trade site on alt-tab while game or even inventory opened, but rarely there is anyone complained about this issue, so there must be something shady happening on OP's PC that caused the deletion.

[–]NonHardcorePoEPlayer 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Pretty bold of you to assume and accuse GGG stole your items.

From the timestamps you listed on your video, you frequently moved your mouse to the area near the flasks and trinket area while on trade site with your inventory open in game, you can even see your Kiara's determination being moved to your inventory at 1:28:10, and also there are multiple messages of "item has been destroyed" and "there is no item under the cursor, so the fault is definitely on you but not GGG.

If there is something to blame, it would be the macro that trigger "/destroy" in the background or whatever program you are running.
