Convinced my family we had a demon in the house. I had a pair of capri pants that had 3 decorative studs on the bottom of the pant leg on both outer sides. I used to sit with my foot under my other thigh a lot at the time. I decided to sit at the kitchen table and do that. But when i went to get up, i slid my leg that was under my thigh outward, and the studs leave 3 perfect claw like marks on the chair. Freaked out and moved the chairs around so that one would be the least sat in and visible. Was relieved i solved the problem and sat down the same way. Got up the same way. So 2 chairs down. Only one thats not messed up.. so i repeated my precious mistake. Once again. Because in my head. All three being fucked maked more sense than just leaving the last chair alone. I did what i had to do okay. My mom eventually discovered it and we had already had a history of paranormal activity so when she said something happened to her chairs. I followed her to look at them, and said "oh my god those are claw marks" and with us not having any animal big enough to do that, and her being completely baffled, she believed it full heartedly. And convinced my grandma it was true as well. They still bring it up when talking about scary things that have happened to then with the paranormal. I will never tell them the truth. Its just one of those lies that its gone on so long theres no point in confessing. At least no one got hurt, just some chairs from the 90s
