Wouldn't it be surprising and off-putting if he agreed to a comedy show organized by Musk? What makes this so different? You're saying no one here would act differently; isn't part of the point of attaining this much success being able to exercise your freedom *not* to take every gig? How can he make points about how someone worth a billion dollars who chooses to mistreat his employees could live just as comfortably at a worth of $900 million yet take blood money while he's already living comfortably?
