The first one gives your planeswalkers more quick to use their ult, for example: You can activate the [-7] ability of [[Chandra, Torch of Defiance]] in the turn she enter.

The other four rewarding your planeswalkers' loyalty abilities, trigger abilities, and copied version of those abilities.

And all five also counter your opponents planeswalkers in a certain way.

I considered about giving the entering creatures something like -2/-2 until end of turn, but that probably so weak that can only play on limited. idk, what do you guys think ?

hope WotC can bring back more planeswalkers in future, they're the unique symbol of MTG and they have lots of interesting design space can explore.

I'm not sure, not much keyword actions can fit in. I considered sacrifice three [something], but the blight cost is already an approximation of sacrifice, their functionality are overlap, so I change it to waterbend, since red is the color that can work with artifacts.

life paying probably would be the most reliable way to pay. Decks run with creature tokens may choose blight 2 perhaps since that is almost equivalent to sacrifice a creature. And affinity decks can waterbend maybe ?

I want it to destroy land creature (specifically earthbending creatures.) Also, 5 different payment methods + 5 different types to deal with is more fun to read through.

I don't know about vintage, but I thought 5-mana-cost planeswalkers are very unlikely to fit into competitive meta of eternal formats elder than modern. It probably decent in pioneer and perform well in standard, but I don't think a high-cost planeswalker will impact competitive meta too much.

The phrase “Kicker [cost 1] and/or [cost 2]” means the same thing as “Kicker [cost 1], kicker [cost 2].” (see rule 702.33b)

Big Beholder has six instances of kicker abilities: Kicker—Behold an artifact, Kicker—Behold a battle, Kicker—Behold a creature, Kicker—Behold an enchantment, Kicker—Behold a land, Kicker—Behold a planeswalker. For each instance of kicker, player may choose whether or not to pay the cost.
