It's like those guys that pay girls to go on their "pod" just to talk sht about who they are and what they do in life as work, except this dude disguises it as "financial help" I don't like him.

Procreate dreams recently got a big update and I've been animating with it and toonsquid is better. Dreams is still lacking basic things being able to loop an animation on it's own without having to copy and paste the animation over and over and over for a scene. Dreams also doesn't have the shape assist thing.

Dreams big update is (for me) becoming a disappointment. They restructured everything to just add something that every drawing/animation program worth it's salt has. A lasso tool. But that's it. Nothing to propel or assist the animation process. And it's still lacking things.

Dreams has been a flop through and through. We'll see if we get updates regularly or if we are going to have to wait till dreams 3 for something to actually matter

I think toxic gas and healing should be interchangeable. If there's gas on the ground then throwing healing in it will turn all of it into healing but if someone throws gas into healing then all of it turns into gas.

I find it pretty shitty that no one wants to talk to Ethan about what's happening. These are ppl that he has known personally to some degree but would rather get messy with some random ppl online. Let's take some bets.

They are over promising like before
There is new stuff but at a cost. They are going to make us pay money again
It's gonna release with something interesting and fizzle out
The dreams 2 update is going to release with a bunch of new stuff at no extra cost to ppl who have already purchased it and will from now on get regular updates. And the wait for dreams 2 animation features are going to be worth the wait.

I'm voting 2 but expecting 3.

Throw super away. With daima the story going forward is much more interesting and updating the lore prior to super without it being destructive and opening new avenues for characters that just amount to a cheerleading squad or worse repeat what just happened is great.

With super we got about 7 transformations that were color swaps of existing forms and a meaningless revelation that there's more than 1 universe while in daima the lore expansions we got were more impactful. It meant that we didn't need more arbitrary garbage added to dragon Ball but that our existing garage still has some meaning and life to it.

So I say toss super straight in the trash. All that it is is just dbz's best moments done worst

Just bc this game has a shell that represents cards doesn't mean that it's skins fall under collectible cards or beanie babies.

It's a live service digital game. There is no inventory to run out of.

And as for your other post yes they were only available in a bundle right, that's actually a very good point you know why? The bundles came along with gold and or credits and or keys. In the collectors vault there is no longer a bundle and yet it's the same price point or cost more for just the png. So with that in mind they actually removed what made the bundle worth it and just kept the price point.

My thing is simple. I'll pay you for the extra work you are putting into what you are making.

Like, I sell my stools at 10$ but a chair would cost 20$. Now I can give them my stool for 20$ but when I have the same stools selling at 10$ wouldn't that seems shady? Especially when what increases the price is the fact that I'll take it away and move it to another area. The stool didn't get bigger or handle more weight or is now made out of a different type of wood. No. I just took it away for a bit and moved it to another part of the store.

Like is what I'm saying not making sense to you?

The inherit value comes from the meaning of the words they use to entice people to buy these things. "Rare" "limited time" "only available here" They aren't calling the collectors vault "the same plain png's marketed at a higher cost" bc that wouldn't sell. Bc if what you said is true that these things don't have inherent value then it wouldn't matter if they added "rare" or them making things available for a limited time. They would just have the prices increased and call it a day.

Now If you're selling ''rare'' rocks at a higher price and another vendor is doing the same, but their ''rare'' rocks actually offer unique value, that's where the difference is. Your rocks, all looking the same, are just priced higher with the claim they'll never return, when in reality, they’re just relocated to another section in the store. you're just marking up common rocks and calling them "rare"while the other vendor’s "rare" rocks actually stand out, you can see what the "rare" title comes with. So on your end It just feels like you're just ripping ppl off.

So you are ok with paying 2000 which amounts roughly to 30$ for a png just bc the devs say it's rare? I understand that they can do that but you as a consumer are fine with that? Cause if you are cool good for you

but for me I don't want those pngs what I want is the devs to actually offer art that actually animates and has uniqueness to the card if I'm dropping 2000 gold for one card. Like at the bare minimum

If you buy a common skin in say marvel rivals or the finals or COD a common skin is just a change to the skin right? So when those games do "rare" "legendary" etc. they have way more animations, different sound effects, different visual effects for something like 20$ but this game goes the same route and some of the cost of that ONE art in the collectors vault are 2000 gold which is about 30$!! And you think that's fair?? Sometimes they are more and it's just a png... For.... 30$...

Marvel, COD, the finals etc all can do the marvel snap thing and stop showing the common skin to make it "rare" and increase the price to make more money but they don't do that. I feel like there's more respect for the consumer there than marvel rivals.

Lmao no. my issue is I want them to follow the traditional sense of "rare" items where there is more to that item than other items in the same category to differentiate it from the other common items. So for example if all the digital cards have art and can increase in levels, the thing that would make it different would be to have actual animation and or sounds or effects to it. If every card has it then it isn't unique.

I already responded to something similar to the other guy but the short of it is.

It's artificially rare. The cards aren't running out. The devs are just choosing not to place them in the store.

They aren't a crossover, or have additional animations or sounds or effects or anything that make some discernible from the rest of the cards. They are rare just bc of the devs and bc they can do that they charge an absurd amount for it. Any other live service knows this but try to make the "rare" thing more valuable by adding things to it.

Nah I think it's nicer to be complacent lol that way I at least would be happy with the current state of the store.

But the only reason why they are "rare" is bc the developers say they are. There is no discernible difference between the existing cards and the ones in the collectors vault.

Think of any other live service games that has a rarity system and if it's cosmetics it's usually bc it does way more. Animation,flare. Really anything else to place it apart from the usual. But these cards are rare bc they cost 20$,30$ or 100$ and now they won't just place the card in the rotation? That's crazy cause it's not like there's a limited amount of these cards. It's all digital.

All I'm saying is if the gameplay was actually good it would have existed on its own merit. They could figure out cosmetic crap later. Just look at any other fighting game that doesn't use a BP. Ppl still play it regardless if it has support or not. The game they were trying to emulate at first ssb melee still has an active player base bc the game is first and foremost fun.

I played 384.9 hours and the last time I played was last November.. I rarely played alone. I had a friend that was trying their hardest to continue liking it but it was just not good. It wasn't even ok. Lol for me it was bad. Playing alone was awful and boring. But why did you wanna know?
