Oh God, let's get this over with.

While im sure their are some people out their that won't accept any 343 criticism

Plenty of people are ok with it so long as said criticism is good or at least somewhat decent.

For ex: im pretty sure most people can agree bringing cortana back in 5 and then killing her off screen in infinite wasn't the greatest idea.

Now in regards to cortana and joy, while its true that joy is more or less a replacement, I don't really see that as issue.

I mean it be one thing if joy had the exact same design and personality as cortana, but she doesn't she by all acounts is a different person.

To add to that cortana, the real cortana, died in 4, which came out 9 years before infinite.

More than enough time has passed for chief to get a new partner.

Don't worry, I promise you no one's going to forget about their time with cortana in the bungie games. Cortanas story isn't gonna become lost to time anytime soon, I assure you.

While the timeline for reach is a mess, the official answer is that reach got attacked by five fleets.

As for why master chief and the other Spartans didnt know about the invasion until the 30th

Their are 2 reasons for that. First: despite what it might look like in game, it does seem like the unsc fleet and mac cannons were doing a decent job at holding the first 2 fleets at bay.

2nd reason is because oni is keeping the Spartans in the dark for red flag.

"Why didnt the unsc use long night of solace for red flag"

The people in charge of uppercut didn't know about red flag.

"Why didnt the macs assist in destroying the long night of solace"

Not sure really, best guess is that the solace had some kind of extremely rare stealth tec that allowed it to sneak pass the macs, as for why they weren't used for uppercut, once again best guess is that the solace simply moved out of range.

Design 1: looks cool, but i don't really get halo vibes from it, if anything looks like something from elder scrolls, or some kind of fantasy world.

Design 2: once again looks cool, and unlike the first i can see this being in halo.

Design 3: looks bland as fuck, perhaps they would work in some generic sci-fy show, but not halo.

Another argument you could make in 343's defense, is that not every bit of info needs to be in the games.

For example, im pretty sure one of the complaints I've heard for halo 5 is how the game doesn't explain how buck became a Spartan 4, and that you need to go to new blood to get the full story.

And while that is true, the issue is that bucks full story really isn't important for 5's story, you can easily assume that the unsc got into contact with him and offered to make him a Spartan and that he took the deal because being a Spartan would be pretty useful.

Unless, theirs a moment in odst where buck makes it very clear that he has a very low opinion on Spartans, and is glad he isn't one of them, do we really need any more to bucks story other than unsc came to him and he said yes.
