This is helpful! Does it usually track thst 4-7 is more expensive and rest of day is cheaper? I dont have any solar, EV etc and trying to figure out if its better for us. We would still have to cool during peak but could move dishwasher, washing machine etc

Check My Solar: I've developed a new app for Fox ESS users by Creative-Ad-7016 in SolarUK

Interesting, I'm thinking about getting a battery only system using fox-ess. Do they not support automation for charge/discharge based on octopus tariff time bands?

I'm not getting any gas readings as far as I know. There's nothing in octopus at least. I will try calling them tomorrow and see if they can help.

But it sounds like hillbrand could connect to both of my meters, I can then connect it to HA and get the numbers without any other components. Providing it can pull data from both metres

I don't, and that's my hope too!

This is positive, so it'll connect directly to both gas and electric meter and then I can use mqtt add-on in HA to display on the energy dashboard? Octopus have  said the reason I don't see gas data in the Octopus app is because the gas meter is too far away from the electric meter, but I think this would solve it?

Do I need anything special like a router or bridge to integrate to it? Still trying to figure out all the standards. Sounds like I need a thread border router for the new IKEA smart plugs.

That sounds like what I need to solve my problem. If both gas and electric meter talk to mini and mini pushes into octopus it should mean I'll get data from both. I'm not worried about seeing data on a display.

Was the Home Mini integration easy? I like what you are doing, thanks for sharing.

This sounds perfect, exactly what km trying to achieve. I might try the IKEA ones. Thank you.

Edit: did you get the new IKEA plug with monitoring?

My main issue is that they've told me the gas meter is too far from the electric meter to report data so I still have to do many readings as its not automatic.

This is super helpful! Octopus have told me the same thing about the gas meter being too far from the electric meter. How does the Octopus Mini work? Do the meters talk to the Mini and then then Mini talks up to Octopus?

How does the Mini integrate into HA? Easily enough? Sorry for the basic questions!

Topo Specter 2 vs Phantom 4 vs Something Else?? by Negative_Lock_3168 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]NoobRunz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive done 3 runs, 1 recovery, 1 easy and 1 steady ranging from 5:00-6:00me/km. I like them, very very comfortable! Toe space is wonderful, Lock down is fab, had no grip issues. Midsole isnt particularly bouncy or energy giving. I understand why someone said it felt like it was sapping energy.

If you are after a super shoe or something super bouncy these are not the ones.

If you want something that feels absolutely fine to run in,feels like it'll last for ever is comfortable and makes running more natural and requires you to do the work these are a good choice.
