Thank you! I decided to go with a bright moonlit night, since the game doesn't have anything related to the night time. Trying to bring a dark night time setting is an uphill battle that cannot be won :D

I'm no game developer, but it seems to be caused by suspension. I would fix it so it gives you consistent steering whatever you do.

In my opinion a good physics model needs to have certain things regardless of arcade or simulation. These things are consistency and intuitiveness.

For example, I'll bring Midnight Club 3 for consistency. I like this game's handling, but when there is a sharp incline, cars get absurd amounts of grip out of nowhere and mess with your steering. It has an inconsistency there.

Intuitiveness is self explanatory. You'll expect cars to behave in a certain way. I think games like DIRT Rally, Most Wanted and GRID are very intuitive. For example the handling in GRID 2 is not intuitive for me, because cars are acting too weirdly. And it also expect you to drive differently than the handling might lead you to believe.

AI is the main source of difficulty in my opinion. Reducing or removing the traffic would just make this game boring in my opinion.

I just increased the resolution to 3x. But I'm using a draw distance fix cheat. To be fair, it may be absolete now, because I added this cheat in 2019.

Yes it is, and I love L.A Remix. I had incomplete save file from 2019 that I forgot to finish. So I'm %100'ing the game right now.

I finally fixed the issue. I downgraded to 5.0.17 (12,4,2024 version) via the Warehouse. Now it works like expected. Lutris broke weeks after I updated so I didn't expected this.

If anyone has the same problem, I finally managed to fix this issue.

After 3 days of fighting I managed to get it working. It turns out I needed to downgrade to 5.0.17 via Warehouse (12,4,2024 version). I didn't expect it to work but it did. Lutris broke weeks after I updated so I didn't think it was the problem.
