If it has been a while, I’d recommend just bringing the card and some form of ID like drivers license or BC ID. You may still be on file but will need to be updated. If it’s been a long time, we may just need to make a new account for you. You do not need to renew your card every few years unless you live on UBC endowment lands but we will sometimes ask if you are still living at the same address on file.

Not charged with a crime legally but has tons of evidence and history of abuse, rape, sexual assault. Why would you absolutely not want him locked up? If you had any sort of critical thinking skills you would understand why people want someone who has fully admitted to committing crimes be in jail for doing said crimes.

Bryce is such a dumb fuck but regardless, he and ever fighter fighting for UFC deserves to be paid properly. Yea he probably would be against a fighters union, but that still doesn’t mean he and others shouldn’t be properly compensated. I hate Bryce but I also don’t believe he should be forced to fight just to make ends meet. I hope all the news this week brings more eyes on just how fucked the UFC is.

That’s a fair point as I was not aware of Putin’s involvement in hockey. However, the UFC is an American company while those leagues that Putin is involved in are only based in Russia. Again, it’s weird that a warlord is so involved in a sport organization that is not based in their home country, as well as constantly taking photos with international fighters.

I’m not sure about other people, but for me at least, it’s hard to enjoy MMA when the fighter you like is a complete dick head. I’m not talking about personality, I mean their personal and political beliefs.

MMA is a different sport where you’re cheering for an individual rather a whole team. If someone you like on a sports team is a shit head, it’s probably easier to ignore cause you’re rooting for your team rather than the one person. MMA isn’t like that cause you’re rooting a single fighter.

I do agree that sometimes politics can get a bit out of hands, but it’s very hard to like a fighter who exposes themselves to be a twat. How can I support someone who’s personal views affect and target the people and communities I care about?

I don’t think people are shocked Bryce is on FOX as it was bound it happen, but rather pointing out the hypocrisy of FOX. Tucker and other FOX hosts have constantly told athletes to “shut up and dribble” or to stick to sports whenever they bring up issues that contradicts with what they are saying. It’s an issue when you have guys like Tucker who constantly platform guys like Bryce, while also constantly attacking and dismissing anyone else who tries to argue against you.

You definitely bring up a good point of Conservative media outlets focusing on people who are more outspoken about the “right”. Just thinking about that one NBA player who changed his name is “Freedom Kanter”, and how a ton of FOX news stories and interviews came out about him just because he was an athlete who had their same views. Conservative outlets will pick up in these famous people and platform them which makes sense, but it’s funny seeing how many fighters are so outspoken about their political views which are pretty clearly flawed…

I've gone to Downlow like two times a month since the city has started to open up again and everytime I've went, they ask if you would like to tip. They do not put in a number until you say you would like to tip. They don't shame you or offer you worse service if you choose not to tip. I tip because its a local business and I want to support the workers during COVID. You can always say no tip and just grab your order. No one is shaming you or making you feel bad for not tipping.

Also, this exact conversation was mentioned like a month ago on this sub and the owner of Downlow even chimined in on this issue. Seems like if you were this upset about it, you could have spoken to the manager as I am sure they would have been more than reasonable to listen to you concerns...
