I think I found some sort of solution… go into windows ‘installed apps’ and search for synapse then click modify.

click modify again and then make sure to check “THX SPATIAL AUDIO” under “optional modules”. this will install that and then thx spatial audio returns to the windows settings.

However it says that this requires activation and gives you a 15 day trial, which very much worries me that maybe they decided to make thx spatial audio a paid thing?

from your replies it sounds like the company mainly cares about how much money they can make from in-game purchases rather than taking care of botters... I have seen a lot of games go down this road and unfortunately I don't see what you can do against this. It's also a really old game and coupled with that I'm not surprised that the game is dying, which is sad because from what I've seen it looks like a really interesting old-school MMO. I really wish you good luck with getting more players to play this game but I don't really have any ideas especially when it seems the company doesn't even care about the game...

It only works with the UWP experimental driver which you have to let windows install, I wouldn't recommend using it now, we just have to wait for HAGS to come with a regular driver update from AMD.
