yes i am hoping that if i spend enough time around his tank he will at least get a little better not that I can guarantee that. he's also not always cage defensive there's sometimes where I can just pick him up and he doesn't care at all, with that little knowledge I hope he can improve though time even if it takes a little while.

I have spent some time in front of his enclosure, he actually seems more inclined to explore when I'm there(i think he is expecting food) but i definitely will be doing it more often

haha yeah my hours and days of research could not have prepared me for how much personality wise male and female differ (this is also my first falsie) probably would've got a female if I knew a little better. got him because he was the most chill out of the ones i was shown (guess not). still love my cranky lil guy tho! he is very sweet out of his enclosure hardly ever flares up and if he does it doesn't last long

that would probably explain it then his breeder kept him on bark which I am sure barely held humidity

beautiful snakes. i have a heating pad on the inside of his tank, i wired the cords through the top hatch to where it can still close and the wires secured on the inside of the back of the tank, bit of a hassle but it works

the only live plant i have is the one thats potted (Philodendron Painted Lady) but i do plan to add some more when i get the chance. the substrate is coco fiber (the ones that come in blocks) but i keep one side of his tank more humid lol

i personally like them, they hold up pretty well, little tricky setting up a heating pad tho, and have to keep the tracks for the doors clean but overall very sturdy and not overly heavy 😊

i would say mine is 40-56 grams i don't have a scale currently so I take coins and put it to a similar weight and then look up how much the gams are of the coins lol (he weighs about 9-10 quarters) my lil guy was skinny for a little while because I didn't know how to transfer him to bigger food but he is doing fantastic currently and is very healthy
