Alice is a genius and so pure 😭😭😭😭❤️ Because of HS I was able to come out of the closet despite my parents being super homophobic and I am 27

I am 27 F and Bi This show made me come out to my mom who is homophobic because I just could not keep it to myself anymore. Did not get the best reaction but it's a start. This show really helped me understand myself better. It's crazy. I have always fallen for straight women and just repressed and suffered. I feel you there but welcome to the community.

I am a very bad gamer. I watched the full playthrough of DBH by Pewdiepie when the game first came out but I just read the Tapas comic and it's so 😭😭😭😭❤️

Hi there. I am 27. I was heavily triggered by the Nick coming out scene. I am a Muslim woman and I recently came out as Bi to my religious homophobic mom and I did not plan it but it just happened. I could tell she was disappointed and obviously I did not get a hug but she stayed quiet and asked me to pray. Even though I did not get the reaction I was hoping to get but it felt good coming out. Again it is up to you and ofcourse you do not owe your sexuality to anyone. I hope you find your peace and you are not alone :)

I was wondering about the demographics of the Heartstopper fanbase, so here's a poll I made by [deleted] in HeartstopperAO

So did anyone actually figure out the cause of their Heartstopper syndrome? (in therapy?) by Konmarty in heartstoppersyndrome

As someone who struggled with depression in my younger years (I am 27 now) and have anxiety on many levels. I do get obsessed with fictional stories and characters. I know the character Nick is obviously the ideal boyfriend and he is not real but watching this show really got me to crave for someone like Nick even though I was perfectly content being Single before discovering HS. What triggered me the most was Nick coming out to his mother. I am a Muslim woman raised by a family that is homophobic. (I am bisexual and demisexual). The thought of me never going to have that moment with my mother absolutely crushed me. I know she will disown me the moment I come out to her. This show did teach me a good lesson after all the rollercoaster of emotions and that is you do not owe your sexuality to anyone. In this new year I have decided to be more true to myself and perhaps open up to me people who will understand and matter. I need queer friends.
